How to uninstall a program

Welcome back.  In this post I will be talking about how to uninstall programs that you don’t need to free up space on your hard drive.  First off, close any windows that are open.  Open the start menu and go to control panel.  Next click on programs, then on programs and features.  A list will come up of all the programs that came with your computer and the new ones that you installed.  Select the program that you want to get rid of, right click and press uninstall.  You can also select the program you want and once selected at the top of the window you will see uninstall.  Next a uninstall wizard should pop up to help you remove your program successfully.  Make sure that you delete all the files that are associated with the program and read through the steps carefully and don’t just keep clicking next.  Once the program(s) that you want are removed from your computer, you should restart your computer to make sure it was done correctly.  By default when deleting some programs, the uninstall wizard will tell you that you need to restart your computer to finish uninstalling the program, but you can choose the option to restart later if you have more than one program to get rid of.
